    Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente.

    While the pasta cooks, heat the olive oil in a pan over low heat.

    Add sliced garlic to the olive oil and sauté until golden and fragrant.

    Once the spaghetti is cooked, reserve a cup of pasta water and drain the rest.

    Add the drained spaghetti to the pan with garlic oil, tossing to coat.

    If the pasta seems dry, add a little reserved pasta water to achieve desired consistency.

    Sprinkle with chili flakes and chopped parsley before serving.
