    Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).

    In a mixing bowl, mash the bananas until smooth.

    In a separate bowl, cream together the butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.

    Add the mashed bananas to the butter mixture and mix well.

    Sift the self raising flour and cinnamon into the wet ingredients and stir until just combined.

    Line a muffin tin with paper cases and spoon the batter into each case, filling them about 2/3 full.

    Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

    Allow to cool slightly before transferring to a wire rack.
